As a PM, my biggest strengths are clustered around research, user experience design, and communication. As an early employee at a startup, I've worn nearly every hat imaginable. Although I am comfortable reviewing metrics and writing technical documentation, it's not where my passion for building products lie.
Whether it's learning a new skill, creating a new project or starting a new initiative at the office, I make my ideas a reality whenever I can.
At Bus.com I've learned the intricacies of translating a real-world experience to a digital marketplace. In travel, there's no room to miss a detail. If a bus is 5 minutes late to pick up, the seat types are incorrect, or traffic held the bus up, it has real world effects on a customer's experience with your product and your company. Learning to design and plan for these real-world experiences is a challenge I love working on.
Life's too short to work with people you don't like. Throughout my academic and professional career I've built strong friendships with those I've worked with at Enactus Concordia, Cory Vines, and Bus.com. (PS: Want character references? Ask some of your very own.)
